These Lower East Side Students Set Up an Edible Insect Food Stand on Houston

PS188, better known as The Island School is a Lower East Side K-8 with an interesting science program that teaches children all about edible insects.

In this video from teacher Lou Lahana, watch as kids from the program prepare food with insects, then setup a food stand to educate and share with the neighborhood.

Island School Students run an edible bug stand to raise awareness of the environmental, economic, and gastronomic potential of entomaphagy.
