These 8 Cute Goats Are Cleaning Up Prospect Park By Munching on Poison Ivy

The Prospect Park Alliance recently announced that it had hired eight new goat employees to help clean up and restore the overgrown Vale of Cashmere area of the park.

When winds from Sandy damaged trees in Prospect Park, invasive weeds like poison ivy were able to take hold. Now the Prospect Park Alliance has brought in 8 hungry goats to help clear the woodlands so that native plants can be reintroduced to the area.
