Stunning Vignette Captures the Feeling of "A Strange Winter in New York City"

Photo: Viewing NYC

18-year-old urban Explorer, photographer, and Instagrammer flashing.lights has been exploring the City for most of his life, always finding new vantage points to capture amazing photographs of the City from above.

Avid readers of Viewing NYC might recognize some of these photos as we have shared a couple in the past, but the popular Instagrammer, whose real name is Josh Charrow, recently uploaded this incredible video capturing the feeling of winter in New York City.

Over the past few years I've struggled to stay motivated around this time of the year. By March we've had nearly six months of cold and it's easy to fall into a slump. The weather recently has been the craziest I've ever seen it in New York City between the low fog, snowstorms, and erratic temperature changes. I wanted to make this video to reflect how I've been feeling lately and all I can say is that I can't wait for spring to finally roll in.

Check out @flashing.lights for daily photos of incredible New York City views and street life.
