Stunning Panoramic Aerial Photograph Shows New York City on a Hazy Day From Way Up High

Manhattan Haze | Panorama taken from a flight out of Newark on a hazy day. Canon 6D with a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L (mark 1, non-IS). Stitched together with Microsoft ICE.

The original color image had a heavy, almost monochrome, blue cast. Do you think I should have left the color in?

Brooklyn engineer and photographer Ryan Micallef was on a flight out of Newark airport last year when he captured this stunning panoramic photograph of the Manhattan skyline, bits of New Jersey, Brooklyn and Queens, all shrouded by a thin haze.
