Street Artists Commissioned to Create Colorful Murals Near World Trade Center and Oculus

The World Trade Center plaza just got a big splash of color! Street artists have been commissioned from around the world to paint a large barrier owned by Silverstein Properties that, until now, was an ugly silver tin color. What do you think?

Artists have taken over Lower Manhattan. Silverstein properties invited various talents from around the world to create murals near the World Trade Center’s Oculus. The ugly sliver tin barrier that sits near Tower Two has been transformed into a colorful work of art.
