Fitness tracking app Strava (for iOS and Android) is one of the most popular apps of its kind. Because of its popularity, the company has data on over a billion tracked activities, including locations, times etc... Using this data, they were able to compile this interesting interactive data visualization map that shows, amongst other things, exactly where people are running and biking throughout New York City. Check out the full map to play around with the data.
