In September 2015, filmmakers, Ryan Emond and Daniel Shoesmith took a helicopter flight from New Jersey to film aerials of New York City during sunrise. A rare cloud formation covered the city shortly after takeoff, extending beyond the horizon in all directions and grounding all other helicopter flights in the region. Ryan and Daniel were lucky enough to be in the only helicopter above Manhattan to capture iconic New York in a light never seen before.
