47 years ago today Neil, Mike and I took a leisurely ride through NYC to celebrate with a few friends. #Apollo11

Americans watched with bated breath as the Apollo 11 landed on the moon just over 47 years ago. On their return, Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin were greeted as national heroes. In this vintage photograph, check out the parade that the legendary space crew took through New York City on August 13th, 1969. It’s an amazing glimpse back to the era of the space race. Check out this video for another view of the parade.

When he is not attempting to hustle the hustlers of Central Park, Joshua enjoys exploring the depths of what New York has to offer. He one day hopes to pilot a drone without immediately crashing it.
