The New York Times has just released a well-done interactive page that highlights just how much the City changed during the twelve years that Mayor Bloomberg was at the helm. The page gives you a tour on the massive growth in residential construction, the rezoning of all 5 boroughs to facilitate economic growth, the addition of 450 miles of bike lanes and dozens of pedestrian plazas and much more. It's an interesting read and immersive experience with tons of before/after photos, clickable buildings and neighborhoods, and interactive features that let you dig in where you want to.
