Re-FashioNYC is New York City's Official Clothing Reuse Program

What do you do with your old and ill-fitting clothing? According to the City, New Yorkers throw out about 200,000 tons of clothes a year. To prevent these items from hitting the landfill, the City of New York and Housing Works have created Re-FashioNYC to get the clothes into the hands of people who will use them. The program aims to make clothing donation as easy as possible through convenient in-building drop-off services.

For more information about the program, locations of drop-off boxes, or how you can get a box in your building, visit Re-FashioNYC.
