Sakura Park is a small section of Riverside Park in Upper Manhattan, near Morningside Heights. Named for its huge collection of Japanese Cherry Trees, the park is currently full of Cherry Blossoms and should not be missed. Check it out!

This past Saturday, May 5th, was the 2018 NYC Cannabis Parade & Rally in Union Square Park, Manhattan. Hundreds of people showed up to voice support for the legalization and decriminalization of marijuana. Three hundred people took part in the annual Cannabis Parade. Marchers held signs with slogans, like "pot power," and chanted sayings, such as "legalize don't demonize."

Last year, local street artist Greg Suits created one of the most unique murals in New York City. Called the "Willy B Skull", the mural incorporates two gaping holes in the side of the abandoned structure it is painted on as eyes in the large, white skull.
