Holographic Studios is a small gallery of holography and a laser laboratory that has been open for 40 years.
Beneath a quiet New York City street, far from the hustle of Times Square and the commerce of Wall Street, sits a dark laboratory run by one of the last practitioners of the art of laser holography. Step through the storefront, past cluttered museum, down an ancient-looking into staircase, and into the world Dr. Laser, or Jason Sapan's. This is eccentric playhouse, is the place where he renders real world objects into dancing images of light.
Visit the studio Monday through Friday, 2pm to 6pm.
