One Film, One New York: a Campaign for All New Yorkers to Watch the Same New York Movie, On the Same Day, For Free

One Film, One New York is an official program setup by the City that will show one iconic movie for free in parks and theaters across the five boroughs on September 13th. Which iconic New York movie will screen? Well, that's up to us to decide.

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment has teamed up with chief film critics A.O. Scott and Manohla Dargis of The New York Times to choose five great films all shot in New York City. During the month of August, we want you to vote for the one film we'll all watch together in parks and movie theaters on September 13th.
