This past weekend, our NYCFC routed the New England Revolution 2-0 thanks to a goal and assist from David Villa. The win introduced the team to the City, introduced Villa as our top player, and helped a City obsessed with baseball, football and basketball to notice the amazing soccer climate in New York. Major League Soccer also noticed, making David Villa the MLS player of the week.
