David Villa Leads the Charge in NYCFC's First Home Win

Our NYCFC played their first home game yesterday in Yankee Stadium and pulled out a 2-0 victory over the soon-to-be rivals, New England Revolution. NYCFC played their home opener in front of a nearly sold-out crowd of 43,507 screaming fans, all expecting to see David Villa and company play world class soccer.

And they did just that, with David Villa scoring his first goal with style, and also providing an assist later to Patrick Mullins in the game to seal the win. The next NYCFC game is Saturday, March 21, 2015 @ 4:00pm against the Colorado Rapids in Denver.
