World of Niché is a hot new shoe store in NoHo which only allows shoppers in one at a time, and only by appointment.
World of Niché wants to change up sneaker culture — and the just-opened store in New York City is already differentiating itself by way of its exclusive by-appointment-only, “one at a time” shopper policy. Upon entry, windows are obscured out, outside shoes must be removed in lieu of leather slippers, and a giant suspended brass ball opens up to showcase the store’s lineup. Said offerings are limited to its own footwear line, available in only a runner ($300 USD), a high top ($400 USD), and a hiking boot ($450 USD), each of which come in three different colors — not to mention, served on a platter once your selection is made.
