"New York Steamscapes" Highlights the Beauty of Steam Over the City Streets

New York City based cinematographer and photographer Dirk Vandenberk recently created this fantastic black and white snapshot of the beauty found within a frequently ignored occurrence on City streets: steam. The steam rises from the sewers and is usually combined with horrible orange shoots of City-provided plastic cones to funnel it upwards, but when you look past that, the omnipresent clouds of steam really set the mood along the City streets.

The music in the video is Moby — "A Seated Night".
