See Where the Minetta Creek Flows Under the Streets of Greenwich Village

Urban Explorer Steve Duncan of the excellent UnderCity.org occasionally offers tours of the old Minetta Creek that runs under Washington Square Park, underground through the streets of Greenwich and West Villages, then out to the Hudson.

This video documents the forgotten Minetta Brook which flows beneath the busy streets of lower Manhattan. This tour, led by Steve Duncan, follows a path over two miles long and makes for a really fun, informative two hours.
