If your newborn is named Sophia or Ethan, their name is not as unique as you thought. The NYC Department of Health released data on the most popular names of 2014 (a year behind, but that's always the case), revealing those two names at the top girls and boys spot. In addition, the Health Department also broke down the list by ethnicity, if the Mother specified it at time of birth.
