On June 29, 2008 NYC DOT and MTA launched the Bx12 Select Bus Service (SBS). 10 years later, New York City now has 15 SBS routes citywide, providing service to about 2.5 million bus riders. SBS provides 10 - 30% faster bus services, more reliable service, & safer streets.
