The East Harlem Giglio Festival was earlier this month and ended with the famous main lifting ceremony and parade on it's last day.
If you weren’t able to join us in East Harlem for the Dance of the Giglio Festival 2015 on Sunday, August 9th 2015 honoring St. Anthony near Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, here’s a great video giving us a flavor of the event.
The first Giglio Fest in Harlem took place in 1908, making it one of the oldest festivals of it's kind in the City.
