65-year-old Mentoria Hutchinson has been hit twice by cars over the past 40 years of being a traffic enforcement officer in the City. After the second, she devised a way to stay safe by making herself more visible: dance.

Mentoria Hutchinson has been working as a traffic enforcement officer in New York City since 1980. After being hit by a vehicle for the second time during her tenure, Mentoria knew she needed to find a way to stand out in traffic. She’s been dancing ever since.
