One of our favorite local photographers Jimmy Kastner (previously) has snapped some glorious photos of our City in the past, and this new one is no exception.
The skyline photographer recently captured this stunning shot of the Manhattan skyline as seen from across the Hudson River. On how the photograph came together, Kastner told us:
I got my last shot on Thursday night by the shipping terminal in Bayonne, NJ. I took a slight detour (well more than slight) on my way to Newark Airport while picking up my wife and pulled to the side of the road to get the shot. There isn't much room in that area to park so I explained to a nearby cop what I was up to and he thought it would be cool. The best way to shoot this was at 100mm so I can get all the buildings.
