Now in it's 9th year, Make Music New York is a great way to celebrate the longest day of the year (Sunday, June 21st) with music around the City.

Make Music New York Inc. is a NYC-based nonprofit that organizes two annual, participatory musical celebrations: Make Music New York on June 21st, the summer solstice, and Make Music Winter on December 21st, the winter solstice.

Starting at 10am on this Sunday, June 21st until 10pm, you can see over 1,200 concerts and performances on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the five boroughs.

Check out the summer schedule and map for more information on performers and participating venues.
