11th Annual Make Music New York Festival is Happening Today in All Five Boroughs

Now in its 11th year, Make Music New York is a great way to celebrate the longest day of the year (Today, Wednesday, June 21st) with live music around all five boroughs.

Make Music New York Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission celebrates the musician in all of us, connects New Yorkers to their communities and with each other, brings bold new artistic creations to life, unites diverse communities in a spirit of celebration and energizes the shared social spaces that make NYC a cultural capital. […] Our mission is ambitious, inclusive, adventurous and fun, and we accomplish it by producing two annual citywide celebrations: our flagship festival, Make Music New York, held each summer solstice on June 21st–the longest day of the year

Starting today at 10am and lasting until 10pm, you can see over 1,000 concerts and performances on streets, sidewalks, and parks across all areas of New York City. Check out the summer schedule and map for more information on where to find performers and participating venues.
