Incredible Photograph Shows Dozens of Bright Yellow Taxis Against a Black and Gray Midtown

Bright Yellow Taxis | It's hard to believe ten years have passed since I created this. This image was one of my most popular pictures early on. And even though I would shoot this differently today, I still think this photo holds up.

Photographer and graphic designer Jimmy Kastner snapped this photo way back in 2005 from the 86th floor observation deck on the Empire State Building.

While seeing dozens of taxi cabs line the streets is nothing uncommon in the City, seeing them flood the street from a birds eye view is something special. Especially when everything around them is in dark grays and blacks.

Check out Jimmy's portfolio for more of his work, including an interesting project titled 10,000+ in which he has snapped a photo every day since February 2012 when he had his 10,000th.
