Here's What the Crowds Looked Like During Last Weeks' Manhattanhenge on 42nd Street

While Wednesday's Manhattanhenge—the first full 'henge of two—was a relatively cloudy bust, thousands of wishful Instagrammers hit the streets all around the borough, trying to capture the perfect shot. You may have already seen some of these photos online, perfectly edited and filtered, but have you seen the insanity on the streets necessary to capture them? In this video from YouTuber actionkid105, check out street scenes from up and down 42nd Street, one of the more popular places to try and catch a good photo.

I take some video clips of photographers at Tudor City and Grand Central Terminal preparing for the legendary Manhattanhenge sunset. When the sunset was nearing its apex, I took my bicycle for a ride across the entire length of 42nd Street to capture the action. Although it wasn't a perfect sunset, the sun still came through at the end through a cloudy sky.
