Have an Extra Half Million Dollars? Bid on a Piece of Yankee Stadium History

Coming up next month, some of the most iconic signage in New York Sports history will hit the auction block. The 10-foot tall electric blue letters that spelled out "YANKEE STADIUM" on the old Bronx ballpark between 1976 and 2008 will be sold through Sotheby's and are expected to go for $300k — $600k each.

In a statement through Sotheby's, Current owner and Yankees legend Reggie Jackson says he wants

a new generation to enjoy this icon of the Yankees and of New York City.
