Haunting Vignette of Brooklyn's Dead Horse Bay

Brooklyn filmmaker and commercial camera operator Justin Brooks has shot commercial, documentary, news, and feature film videos for several major networks and film studios.

As a side-project, Brooks recently created this haunting vignette showing all of Brooklyn’s Dead Horse Bay, one of the most polluted areas in the City.

Today one can find a large array of glass bottles and pieces of broken glass on the beach, along with old shoes and construction materials, many from the landfill which is now leaking. It is a popular place to collect strange decorative materials for artists and crafters.
