Google Art Project Hopes to Document All of the Street Art in the City in High Def

Google Art Project — Street Art is a growing collection of thousands of high-definition photos of not only the City's best street art, but the best art from around the world as well. The project is part the search giant's Cultural Institute, a place where viewers can

discover exhibits and collections from museums and archives all around the world. Explore cultural treasures in extraordinary detail, from hidden gems to masterpieces.

Notably captured in this project is what appears to be a complete scan of 5pointz before it was demolished.

This Google produced video above celebrates some of the Street Art collection by highlighting some of the NYC locations using only Google Maps and Google Earth.
