Gigbloc Website and App Lets You Listen to What Live Music is Playing in NYC Week by Week

Gigbloc is a website that launched a few months ago which uses publicly accessible data for upcoming local shows and gigs around the City, then maps them out and lets you listen to songs from the show's artists.

It's tough to explain in one sentence, but basically Gigbloc lets you find gigs near you, then listen to the musicians before buying tickets. It's a great way to find new artists nearby.

We love music, and we love discovering and supporting up and coming bands. We built Gigbloc so that music lovers can discover local bands playing in their area to support them, and to help bands promote themselves when they're getting started.
