Franz Grasser's Rare Photographs of New York City Circa 1938

German photographer Franz Grasser who travelled to the United States in 1938, capturing some amazing photos of a pre-war New York City. Sadly, when he returned to Germany he was drafted into the war and died in the Ukraine in 1944 as a prisoner of war.
