For this episode of Best in the City, a web series produced by AM Media Group and GrindingNYC, host Jennifer Logue heads to a restaurant some are calling the best new restaurant in the Country, The Cecil in Harlem. The new restaurant offers up New York City’s first Afro-Asian-American cuisine.
Afro/Asian/American cuisine is a fusion of the best of what each of those distinct food cultures has to offer. It traces the global migration out of Africa through the influence of African spices, textures and cooking techniques on traditional American, Latin and Asian dishes.
