East Harlem Deli Arson Surveillance Video Released

A few days ago a man poured a flammable liquid through a window at Saied Deli (E. 125th St. near Park Ave.) and lit it on fire. The police have released this surveillance video in hopes of getting a lead in the case. If you recognize the arsonist, please contact

Cops described the suspect as a black man, between 23- and 35-years-old, 6-foot-2, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, black sneakers and black and white Brooklyn Nets knit hat.

Anyone with information in regards to this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
