There is a new helicopter service in the City called Gotham Air that offers "cheap" flights between Manhattan and NYC airports in
6 minutes flat. I say "cheap" because while 10 to 20 times less expensive than a private charter flight, these 4-person crowdsourced flights range from $99 to $219. For the traveler who loses more money in time on the commute, this is great. But for me... file this one under things that are cheaper than they used to be, but still way to expensive for me to use.
