Check Out This Video of The Bronx Zoo's Newly-Hatched Baby Penguin!

The Bronx Zoo recently welcomed a feathery friend to the community, a baby fairy penguin. Fairy Penguins are native to New Zealand and are the smallest species of penguins.

The zoo debuted a colony of the penguins as a new exhibit in 2015, and on May 10, the birds successfully hatched a chick, marking the first time the species has ever reproduced at the zoo.

Be sure to visit the Bronx Zoo to see more of the adorable newcomer.
