Check Out These Incredible Skaters at the Chelsea Piers Skatepark on Pier 62

Pier 62 Skatepark is tucked away out of sight behind Chelsea Piers, but the park attracts a lot of local skating talent to the many pools and ramps around the complex.

This is a 15,000 sq. ft skatepark designed and built by California Skateparks/Site Design Group. It features a 5 ft spine, beginner Ollie Zone including a 4 ft Quarter, 2 ft Wedge and a 3 ft Start Box, the Intermediate Fun Box including a 24 ft Ledge, a Kinked Flat Rail, and an 18 ft Ollie Ledge.

In this video from Brooklyn cinematographer and editor Taylor Morgan, watch as several of the parks best skaters work the park with expertise.

The music featured in the video is Fugazi — “Waiting Room”
