Brooklyn Bridge Park Goats

Brooklyn Bridge Park's newest hires have been busy! Spotted by a writer for the Brooklyn Heights Blog, the new goats hired to help cleanup the Brooklyn Bridge Park weeds are proving to be quite effective.

So far, the goats have been confined to the southern part of the berm, to the left of the double fence in the photo above. As you can see, the upper slope of the berm on the south side has been cleared quite well, though some work remains to be done on the lower part. The part to the right still has abundant weeds, awaiting the goats’ attention.
