Central Park Released an Accessibility Map for Visitors With Limited Mobility

Despite their world-famous design, Central Park creators Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux didn't really have accessibility in mind when creating paths in the park. In the 161 years since, more features and attractions have been added, many of which are not very accessible for those with limited mobility. But Central Park is trying to do better, recently releasing this Central Park Access Map (PDF) showing which paths and walkways have stairs, a steep incline, are paved vs. dirt, and also locations of any accessible amenities like bathrooms, restaurants, and subway entrances.
