Brooklyn Botanic Garden Found the "Greenest Block in Brooklyn" in the Neighborhood of Flatbush

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden holds an annual Greenest Block in Brooklyn competition in which it chooses the block with the best plantlife from hundreds of submissions.

The Greenest Block in Brooklyn contest promotes streetscape gardening, tree stewardship, and community development in Brooklyn through block and merchant associations and other groups. Prizes are awarded for residential and commercial blocks and for greenest storefront, best window box, and other greening efforts.

This year's winner was the E. 300s block on 25th Street in Flatbush. Congratulations!
