We reported earlier this year about [Amazon Prime Now](http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=pn_surl_lp/?node=10481056011%29%2C&tag=viewingnyc-20 a new delivery service by the shopping giant which promises 1 or 2 hour deliveries for $7.99 and free, respectively.
Previously, you could only grab essentials and items you would find online, but today Amazon announced that they will start delivering food items from local grocers too! Like before, the service rolls out first in Manhattan in the following zip codes:
- 10003 - 10012, 10014, 10011 - 10113, 10114, 10199 - 10211, 10260, 10270, 10276
Participating grocers vary per zip code. Near Union Square (10003) for instance, the available stores within the app are currently D'Agostino, Billy's Bakery and Gourmet Garage.
You place orders through the Amazon Prime Now App, available for free on the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
