Amazing Photograph of One World Trade Center at Night Surrounded by a Cloudy Mist

Turris Lucis | Standing on the edge of the East River in Brooklyn, I watched a storm pass over Manhattan. From here you could see One World Trade Center grazing the clouds as its glow illuminated the city sky.

One of our favorite local photographers Jimmy Kastner (previously) has been pretty active shooting the City lately.

The skyline photographer recently captured this incredible shot of 1WTC and the Financial District as seen from across the East River in Brooklyn Bridge Park. On the setup of the shot, Kastner told us:

I shot this photo from Brooklyn Bridge Park on Saturday night. I set up my camera on a tripod and watched as the clouds rolled through Manhattan. I shot several pictures as the clouds grazed One World Trade Center.
