Amazing Cinemagraphs of New York City Through Photographer Jamie Beck's Literal Eyeglasses

New York Based photographer Jamie Beck and digital artist Kevin Burg recently joined forces to create Ann Street Studio, a place to house their collaborative efforts including some fantastic cinemagraphs amongst other artistic medium. The duo actually created the format which is made by taking

a series of photographs or a video recording, and, using image editing software, compositing the photographs or the video frames into a seamless loop of sequential frames. This is done such that motion in part of the subject between exposures (for example, a person's dangling leg) is perceived as a repeating or continued motion, in contrast with the stillness of the rest of the image.

Beck is proud to share this series of cinemagraphs which feature the world as seen through her eyes, and her actual Giorgio Armani eyeglass frames.

As a photographer I show you the world through my lens on a daily basis. I’ve been thinking about the art of looking. Now you get to see what I see through my own glasses.
