Carnegie Hall and Weill Institute Announce the Somewhere Project and West Side Story

The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall offers music education and community outreach programs to children and adults not only in New York City, but across the world.

As part of Carnegie Hall's 125th anniversary, the Weill Music Institute is launching the Somewhere Project. The project includes a full production of West Side Story, as well as free concerts around the five boroughs of New York, featuring work by young people and other community members inspired by the themes of West Side Story.

The West Side Story performances take place March 4–6, 2015 at the Knockdown Center, a restored factory in Maspeth, Queens.
