Watch This First Person View of the A Subway Line from Brooklyn to Rockaway Park

Local transit historian and railfan Dj Hammers makes tons of great videos showing how subway transit works and runs in the City.

Hammers recently got a chance to film a huge chunk of the A train's route from Downtown Brooklyn to Rockaway Park, as seen by the front car's motorman through the front window. It's a fantastic look at the tunnels, and a side of the subway system that we rarely get to see.

The museum BRT Standard cars have a front window that passengers can see out of. Quite the view!! This video was taken on a museum train excursion that visited Rockaway Park. Tickets for excursions like this are available on the Transit Museum's website.
