Fine art photographer Stephen Wilkes has an incredible series of photographs called Day to Night in which he captures the same setting over the duration of a day, then merges them together to create one seamless image. He does this by setting up his camera to take pictures of a single scene over and over for many hours, then blends the images to get this amazing time-defying effect showing both night and day in the same photograph.
