WATCH: This Brooklyn Company Turns Dead Trees in NYC Parks into Designer Furniture

RE-CO is a Brooklyn based company which reclaims dead and fallen trees from New York City streets and parks, then produces furniture and wood panels from them instead of sending them to the landfill.

After declaring one of the largest trees in NYC dead, The NYC Parks Department and RE-CO BKLYN milled lumber from the tree to make available back to the public and turn into furniture.

Check out RE-CO’s website for more info on their NYC tree reclamation process.
