Watch The Wolfpack, a Documentary About 6 LES Brothers Locked in Their Apartment Who Learned About the World by Watching Movies

You may remember last year when it was revealed that 6 brothers from the LES grew up their entire lives without ever leaving their apartment, learning all they knew about the world from movies and television.

In a documentary created about their story called The Wolfpack, the 6 Angulo brothers reenact all of their favorite scenes, explore New York City with a fresh set of eyes, and learn a little of what it's like to be alive.

The Wolfpack is a coming of age story following the six Angulo brothers who have spent their entire lives locked away from society in an apartment on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. All they know of the outside world is gleaned from the films they watch obsessively and recreate meticulously, using elaborate homemade props and costumes. For years this has served as a productive creative outlet and a way to stave off loneliness - but when one of the brothers escapes, everything changes, and all the boys begin to dream of venturing out.
