[WATCH] Peek Inside Choco-Story, New York City's First Chocolate Museum

Chocolatier and NYC pastry chef Jacques Torres — a.k.a. Mr. Chocolate — is well known for his delicious chocolates, cookies, truffles, confections, and ice cream amongst other tasty desserts. He recently dedicated a large section of his SoHo location to become Choco-Story, a museum dedicated to chocolate. Peek inside with this video from CBS New York.

The 5,000-square-foot museum features authentic artifacts, nine chocolate tastings and also hosts bon bon-making classes. There’s also a kids’ corner where children can dig for chocolate-related “artifacts” in a sand pit or run their own chocolate shop. The journey starts with the history of chocolate making, with the first demonstration showing how the ancient Mayans created the delicious confection.
