Artist Jane Dickson lived and worked in Times Square during the late 1970s and ‘80s, capturing what she saw and experienced through drawings, paintings, and photography. With the release of her latest book “Jane Dickson in Times Square”, we sat down with Jane to hear more about Times Square’s dark and gritty past and the ways in which she was able to navigate that world as an artist, as a woman, and a resident of the neighborhood.
